Libris Ignis promotes the sciences and researchers in two ways:
- Weekly interviews with field specialists. They tell us more about themselves, their interests, their work, and their favourite dinosaur. These interviews also have links to their peer-reviewed articles. (Please also see the open-access section further down the page.)
- A solution to the abovementioned problem is to have researchers explain their work in an accessible way, but with references to their studies. By doing this we bypass any barriers between research and general audiences, while still supplying references. This makes the written pieces more reliable and anyone can reference these works freely and with confidence in their validity.
We have effective marketing strategies in place to ensure that all articles reach wide audiences across the globe. Note that all submitted materials remain the copyright of the authors. Furthermore, as we gain more readers we aim to give back to the researchers whose work we feature, in the form of a percentage in the advertising revenue. The more an article is read, the more the author will receive.

Our review process
When we receive your article, book, recording, or poster/infographic we do an initial appraisal of the submission. We assess the quality of writing and, if applicable, accompanying graphic materials. We also have to consider if the study is a good fit for the intended audience and publication on the Libris Ignis website.
Marketing
Great care and effort are made to reach readers across the world. We want authors to receive the maximum amount of exposure for their hard work, while simultaneously making research more accessible to the world.
Payments
Authors receive a percentage of all advertising revenue twelve months after their interview or article is published. We use a sliding scale to calculate the payment amounts, depending on how much traffic that publication received.
Open access publication
We at Libris Ignis are pro-open access, but we understand that this is not always possible, especially when academics are trying to cement their reputations and research in academic circles and at universities. By condensing your peer-reviewed research and findings into an article for us, we not only make your work more accessible, but we also increase your impact factor.
Replication or ‘Dead-end’ Studies
Not all research yields novel or exciting results, but this does not make your research less valuable. One of our goals is to create a database of studies that either verify or dispute previously undertaken studies. We are also interested in studies that yield inconclusive results.
The reason for our interest in these studies is that millions are lost annually to experiments that have already been completed by other scholars, frequently yielding disappointing or inconclusive results. These studies are never made public, making it easier for these studies to be replicated by others which leads to a waste of resources.
We offer to add your research free of charge to a section on our website dedicated to inconclusive studies. These submissions are not peer-reviewed due to the costs associated with peer review, but they are still valuable to others.
